The highly-competitive pageant featured over 80 contestants and forced participants to not only show their discipline and ability through categories such as evening gown and swimsuit, but also required contestants to be intelligent and quick critical thinkers as they each had to answer difficult and controversial questions dealing with Arizona issues such as illegal immigration, health care and education.
